Local French students receive DELF diplomas

Local students from Audubon Charter and Lycee Francais French schools received their DELF diplomas. Consulat general de France en Louisiane, Vincent Sciama, presented the awards to the students during an outdoor ceremony at Audubon Charter School in New Orleans on Tuesday May 7th, 2018.

Students from both schools performed songs in French to an audience full of parents, teachers, friends and school administrators. Congratulations students!

What is the DELF?

The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française – Diploma in French Language Study) is a French proficiency certifications for non-native speakers of French awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency in the French language. The DELF diploma (for which there are several levels) is valid for life and is recognized throughout the world making it the best way to officially certify one’s level of proficiency in French for personal or professional purposes.
